Most people call me Regina. My family calls me Regina Jo (it’s true - you can take the girl out of the country, but you can’t take the country out of her middle name). Some people call me Reg or Regi. Ryan and Vikki call me Sis (or Sister Sue but we won’t go into that long explanation). Zoe and AJ, MacKenzie, Nia, Nala and Hannah and Isaiah IV call me Gigi. David calls me Princess. Brynna calls me Mommy.
I live in Houston, TX with my amazing husband, David, and our 2 kids - Brynna "Bear" Grace and our little man (who happens to be a dog), Miles Davis. I have a daughter-in-love, Taylor, in Auburn, AL and 7 godkids from Oklahoma to Australia.
I have never been one of those girls who had one defining interest. I have lots of diffearent interests and depending on the day or my mood, any one of them may lead. I’ve always kind of prided myself on my ability to do them all. And then one day I became a mom. The weight of that responsibility changed my life. I didn’t go to the crazy place but I knew that from that moment on, the word “and” had been added to any description of me. That’s why I chose the name I did for my blog. I get to do and be a lot of different things…AND I get to be a mom.
This has become my place to share my heart. I hope you find a little something to laugh about (or at, I’m ok with that) while you’re here. I hope you get comfort if you need some. I hope you learn from my mistakes and find hope for wherever you are. I hope you know you're not alone. Most of all, I hope you see how although life isn’t always pretty, it can be such a joy if you get in your own backseat and let God drive.
